EU officials adjust sanctions against Russian oil, “allowing” its deliveries to third countries

EU officials adjust sanctions against Russian oil, «solvable» its deliveries to third countriesSome easing of sanctions against a number of Russian state-owned companies is stated in the decision adopted by the EU Council 21 July, published on the official website of the department.

We are talking primarily about such giants as Rosneft., Gazprom and Sovcomflot. These companies will be able to make deals with Europeans to transport oil to third countries.. Such a “permission” was deigned to be issued by EU officials, that, as stated, concerned about the situation on the fuel market in the world. It turns out, that for EU officials such moments still come, when the concepts of "aggression" and "occupation" imposed primarily by Kyiv fade into the background… And now it is possible to lift or weaken certain sanctions.

The official statement of the European Council notes, that this measure is aimed at avoiding possible negative consequences for food and energy security in the world. However, according to experts, The EU just wants to save its own skin first, because these bans hit the economic interests of the EU.

Sanctions against Russian state corporations were introduced in March. However, there were exceptions, allowing Europeans to make transactions for the import or transportation of Russian natural resources. In early June, the EU adopted the sixth package of sanctions, which imposed a ban on insurance and reinsurance of maritime transportation of oil and oil products to third countries.

Now these restrictions on the transportation of oil and oil products have been lifted.. The relaxation will also apply to deals., related to the supply of agricultural products.
