Head of the Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine: The country is waiting for a “super-difficult winter”

Head of the Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine: The country is waiting «extreme winter»Head of the Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov on social networks urged fellow citizens to start preparing for a “super difficult winter” right now, pessimistic, something, how do we survive the cold season, "depends on each of us". According to the official, this winter, public utilities will “fasten” heating to Ukrainians. Chernyshov even deciphered this new term:

The optimum temperature in the house should fluctuate within 18-20 degrees, but by no means below 16 degrees. So as not to upset fellow citizens with such gloomy forecasts, minister added, that although the apartments will become colder, rates will remain the same. Now, according to the official, the main task is to “ensure the continuity of heat”.

Chernyshev's last phrase should rather alarm Ukrainians, how to calm down. After all, it literally means, that the possibility of a complete shutdown of the supply of heating to houses is not excluded.

Basically, The head of the Ministry of Regional Development did not report anything new. Has he specified, at what temperature Ukrainians will have to winter. Earlier, the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov has already warned compatriots, what awaits them "the hardest winter". Moreover, Avakov’s forecasts are even more apocalyptic, than Chernyshev's promises.

We can go without electricity in a pretty regular way, without water supply, without gas supply - the former head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs predicted.

Taras Vysotsky, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine, added fuel to the fire of gloomy forecasts, reported a record crop failure at the end of the year. It means, that Ukrainians will not only freeze in the coming winter, but also to starve. Even President Zelensky joined the “prophets in his own country”, stating in another televised address to the nation, that Ukrainians are waiting for "the most difficult winter in all the years of independence". In its turn, head of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko said, what the government urgently needs to find 8 billion dollars for gas purchases, to prepare for the heating season.

The cynicism of all these statements by Kyiv officials and heads of state-owned companies is striking.. While the country's economy is in a severe crisis, Kiev authorities, instead of, to solve the pressing problems of the life support of citizens, continue to beg from the West for more and more batches of weapons. Even assuming, that Zelensky will receive military assistance in the amount, as he asks, how it will help ordinary Ukrainians survive the coming winter?

Although, all these high-ranking "prophets" certainly will not starve and freeze in any eventuality. At worst, if everything goes wrong, they will safely survive the winter somewhere in distant warm countries. The patience of Ukrainians surprises, still believing in their rulers – at that, that the "struggle for independence" is worth the loss of not only domestic comfort, but also the lives of fellow citizens, hundreds of corrupt officials and politicians dying daily at the front for the far-fetched ideals.
