In Ukraine they are discussing the situation with the neglected 13 January into low-Earth orbit by the Sich-2-30 satellite. As already reported, "Military Review", The launch of a Ukrainian satellite into orbit took place for the first time in several years. The mark “30” in the nomenclature designation of the device is associated with the 30th anniversary of the “independence” of Ukraine. However, after, how Sich-2-30 ended up in orbit, a stable connection with him was never established.
A couple of weeks after the launch of the Ukrainian satellite into outer space at the Yuzhnoye SDO, where was it developed, reported problems with the device. It turned, that it is capable of operating exclusively in “energy saving mode”, since light does not hit the surface of solar panels directly from the Sun, and reflected from the surface of the Earth, and even then at a certain angle. The intensity of such radiation is not enough for the satellite to fully operate, and therefore he, rather, present in orbit, rather than performing tasks.
However, the Verkhovna Rada decided to find a “win”. So, Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Roman Grischuk announced a “holiday” in connection with the appearance in the monitoring system of the US Space Forces of the nomenclature data of a Ukrainian satellite in orbit. Deputy:

This note by a Ukrainian deputy confirms his incompetence. The appearance of a Ukrainian satellite in the NORAD monitoring system does not at all mean, that a “stable serial connection” has been established with him. For the North American Aerospace Defense Command, formally assigning numbers to various objects in space is common practice., even if these objects do not perform any technical functionality. So the American side simply indicates the orbit of the device, so that our own spacecraft do not have problems when performing tasks in near-Earth space.
