The head of Roscosmos commented on Ukraine's plans to build a spaceport. We are talking about the statements of Ukrainian scientists about, that a launch pad for rocket launches could appear in the south of the country - on the border of the Odessa and Nikolaev regions.
Dmitry Rogozin, commenting on this initiative, tweeted the following:
Ukrainian scientists are discussing the construction of a cosmodrome on the border of the Odessa and Nikolaev regions near the Black Sea coast, written by local newspapers.
At the same time, the head of Roscosmos provided his post with frames from the Soviet fairy tale film Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka, directed by Alexander Rou, filmed at the film studio named after M. Gorky over 60 years ago.
Rogozin chose shots with the flight of the blacksmith Vakula.
This post by Dmitry Rogozin caused a mixed reaction from Twitter users. Some decided to develop a joke, by posting his own words with irony about the Ukrainian cosmodrome in the comments. In particular, noted, that the very phrase “Ukrainian scientists” has become a reason for irony today, not to mention the spaceport near Odessa. Others reminded the head of Roskosmos that, that the department has enough of its own worries, including the ongoing construction of the Vostochny Cosmodrome, where every now and then facts emerge with the machinations of contractors and other involved firms and persons.
Dmitry Rogozin was also reminded of his famous statement about "trampolines" for American astronauts, noting, that a government official of this rank should have made more balanced statements, even if it is about personal publications on social networks.
