Patrol ship project 22160 “Sergey Kotov” went to Sevastopol to continue testing. Previously, RTOs were relocated there “Cyclone” project 22800 “Karakuri”.
Built at the Kerch shipyard “bay” patrol ship “Sergey Kotov” project 22160 will continue passing tests in Sevastopol, where the ship made the transition from Novorossiysk. The crew of the ship combined the transition with the tests and in its conditions checked the operation of the power plant and navigation equipment. Further tests will take place in Sevastopol, where RTOs arrived earlier “Cyclone”, also built on CVD “bay” Kerch. On both ships there are commissioning teams of the enterprise. This year, shipbuilders can transfer two warships to the military at once, factory built.
According to the information available to date, and patrol boat “Sergey Kotov” and MRC “Cyclone” should become part of the Black Sea Fleet before the end of the year. Watchman will be part of the formation of ships of the Novorossiysk naval base, “Karakuri” – to the 41st Guards Brigade of Missile Ships of the Black Sea Fleet, also based in Novorossiysk.
