Concern “Kalashnikov” released a new video, dedicated to the prototype of the 9-mm submachine gun PPK-20, developed in the interests of the Ministry of Defense. 50-second video posted on the official channel of the concern in You-Tube.
This video is not the first, before this video about PPK-20 concern “Kalashnikov” posted a year ago, at the beginning of October 2020 of the year. As stated in the description for the video, in the video, a prototype of the 9-mm PPK-20 submachine gun is considered “literally under the microscope”. Noteworthy is the title of the video, which says, that this is a new version of the submachine gun.
PPK-20 submachine gun developed as part of development work (OCD) “Knight-MO” based on serially produced with 2005 years PP “Knight-CH” subject to comments and shortcomings, identified during its operation. The official name of the new weapon sounds like: “9 mm Kalashnikov submachine gun PPK-20”.
9 mm Kalashnikov submachine gun PPK-20 named after Viktor Mikhailovich Kalashnikov. total length – 600-660 mm, mass without ammunition – 2,6 kg, barrel length 182 mm, cartridge – 9х19 Luger, store capacity – 30 rounds. The first video showed slightly different parameters.: total length – 640-700 mm, barrel length – 233 mm, weight – 3,65 kg (possibly equipped), other parameters are the same.
The PPK-20 includes: muffler, belt with one-point and two-point fastening, special bag for carrying magazines, related equipment and cleaning products.
