Who fears the restoration of an independent center of power in the Balkans?
Last week in the north of Kosovo - in Northern Mitrovica, Zvechane - shots rang out, the explosions of stun grenades thundered, tear gas. Dozens of people were injured, a few hours later, an elderly woman died, breathable gas. But the "winners" - the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo ROSU - left with the "catch": medicines and food produced in Serbia.
Another invasion by Albanian units into the major Serbian enclaves of Kosovo took place under the guise of fighting smuggling. Pristina demands "reciprocity" from Belgrade, that is, the recognition of documents of the separatist entity "Republic of Kosovo". Serbia refuses, and in response, Kosovo does not recognize the goods of the "Republic of Serbia", interfering with their legal entry into the region. Local craftsmen deliver what you need using "fox trails", sharing locally with the Kosovo police. If the rest of Kosovo can be supplied from Albania and North Macedonia, then for the northern Serbian enclaves, goods from Greater Serbia are the only opportunity. And knowing this, Pristina strikes.
Serbian troops were again put on alert and deployed to the administrative borders of the region. And President Aleksandar Vucic, at a meeting with the Serbs of Northern Kosovo, promised, what if the Albanians use force against them again, then they will get a symmetric answer.
“All this was invented by British diplomats in Pristina, - says the leader of the oldest Serbian radical party, formerly a prisoner of the Hague Vojislav Seselj. - I have accurate information, confirming this fact. There will be other provocations. They are testing Serbia for strength ".
This information was confirmed by the President of Serbia: “I have a great relationship with the UK, and I will always want this kind of relationship, but i won't let them fool me! - said Vucic. – We found 58 caliber casings 5,56 NATO. The European Union reacted to the incident with apprehension - Brussels is not interested in a new exacerbation in the Balkans. “Violent incidents in northern Kosovo must end immediately, - tweeted the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell. – Unilateral and uncoordinated actions, threatening stability, unacceptable. All open issues should be resolved through dialogue with the assistance of the EU. We are in touch with Belgrade and Pristina ".
15 October at a meeting of the UN Security Council, the head of the UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) Zahir Tanin presented the report of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, which he doubted, that Pristina warned the management of KFOR about her actions. Rapporteur warned the Kosovo side, that her actions can put the edge on the brink of war. In response, an American representative who was present at the meeting struck a blow to the UN mission.: “UNMIK has fulfilled its task ... We call on the Security Council to gradually scale down the mission, so that Kosovo can freely realize its potential and goals ".
Pristina supported the American call. "President of Kosovo" Vjosa Osmani, speaking at the meeting, said: “UNMIK was formed 22 years ago in extremely difficult conditions for the creation of an interim administration. I repeat, interim administration ... We urge to spend the UNIMK budget on something else, more effective ". In addition, Osmani called Serbia "the cancer of Europe". 11-12 сентября в Белграде проходил саммит, посвященный 60-летию Движения неприсоединения, созданного в 50-е годы ХХ века Гамалем Абдель Насером, Джавахарлалом Неру и особенно Иосипом Броз Тито, который сделал это движение всемирным, пригласив страны Латинской Америки и Океании. Первая конференция Движения неприсоединения прошла в 1961 году в Белграде, и с тех пор Югославия играла в нем ведущую роль. Ставшая ее правопреемницей Сербия имеет там только статус наблюдателя, но 60-летие Движения неприсоединения стало для Сербии поводом напомнить о том, что она не собирается вступать ни в какие военные блоки, including NATO, и придерживается принципов неприсоединения.
На саммит в Белград прибыли делегации 105 countries and 9 international organizations. С председательствующим в Движении Азербайджаном Сербия подписала соглашение о военном сотрудничестве. Путин в своём обращении приветствовал делегатов саммита. От лица Республики Сербской на саммите выступил сербский член Президиума БиГ Милорад Додик, рассказавший, как Запад превратил его страну в колонию де-факто.
Параллельно в комплексе «Белградская ярмарка» проходила выставка вооружений и военной техники «Партнёр–2021», на которой Сербия представила и свои наработки, и продукцию государств-партнёров России и Китая. А когда журналисты спросили Вучича, как он относится к тому, что США и ЕС критикуют его за покупку российских и китайских вооружений, the president said: «Если вы думаете, что США и ЕС должны решать за нас, сколько оружия у нас будет, то давайте тогда отменим наше государство… Сербия будет действовать как свободная страна!»
Одновременно с саммитом и выставкой в Сербии стартовали российско-сербские летно-тактические учения «БАРС-2021», а чуть позже – учения «Славянский щит», в рамках которых в Сербию прибыли российские ЗРПК «Панцирь-С».
Откликнулись на это и западные марионетки на Балканах. «Сербия не гармонизирована с европейскими ценностями демократии и верховенства закона. Режим Вучича гармонирует с политикой региональной гегемонии Милошевича. Действия Сербии полностью согласованы с дестабилизирующими действиями России в регионе», – написал в «Твиттере» глава «администрации президента Косово» Блерим Велья.
Запад боится восстановления независимого центра силы на Балканах. И можно безошибочно предположить, что провокации в Косово продолжатся.
