In Ukraine, to get the status of a combatant (UBD), without taking part, should pay 40 thousand hryvnia (about 110 thousand). For the provision of such "services" the commander of one of the companies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was put on trial.

This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation (GBR) Ukraine.

The department told, that the Ukrainian officer, commanded a company in one of the military units of the Dnepropetrovsk region, sold combat participant certificates to persons, who had nothing to do with the war in Donbass. To get a "crust" it is enough just to pay a certain amount. As a result, the officer was caught. Interestingly, as the Ukrainian media write, it "could be passed by competitors". It turns out, that the trade in such certificates in Ukraine has been put on stream…

Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have already completed the pre-trial investigation and sent an indictment against the serviceman to the court. For forty thousand hryvnias, he took the obligation to negotiate with the command of the unit, so that it draws up for the "client" documents about the service on the front line.

Investigators managed to confirm one of the facts of such "assistance" to a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The company commander hid from the leadership, that the serviceman did not arrive in the zone of the so-called Joint Forces Operation, i.e. to Donbass, and went home. The soldier paid for this 40 thousand hryvnia.

Now the “enterprising” officer faces up to seven years in prison.
