A year since the beginning of the Belarusian Maidan: summing up the results of the crushing defeat of the zmagars

How the color revolution was defeated in its own field and made pity puppeteers.

Year. Exactly one year ago, it started, most importantly, the color revolution in Belarus was not crowned with success.

9 August 2020 the whole well-oiled coup machine, which has come a long and predatory way from the still slightly naive Jean Sharpe manuals to an excellent understanding, how to change power on the streets of the POST-SOVIET countries, started her "Barbarossa". By this point, it has become clear, that the ruling power cannot be eliminated with roses and carnations alone, what do you need coordinated battle groups, terror and intimidation - and understanding also came, how to organize and apply all this. Here is the experience (and footage...) Ukraine played a huge role, and the proximity of the Baltic countries and Poland, where the issue of separation of Belarus from Russia was approached with great personal zeal and zeal, and the general situation of a long confrontation between the Russian Federation and the West, when everything went so far, that "all means are good". In short, the coup in Belarus promised to be "work on the mistakes", and at the same time - "demonstration of all the best developments".

But - did not. The strategy of encircling Russia with a suffocating embrace of Russophobic countries has failed. And gave us many priceless lessons!

so, first lesson: even if you have a good propaganda and coordination system ("someone"), even if you really have tens of thousands of people "charged" - there is always a question of high and middle leaders. People are more willing to go into battle not for ideas, but for personalities. No matter how critically we evaluate Yarosh or Turchinov today, but they were people, strongly overgrown with social ties of their environment, somehow proven themselves in it, etc.. P. Who are Tikhanovskaya or Kolesnikova - no one knew. "Some women". What to expect from them, can they be trusted, what their leadership abilities were - no one knew, and on one faith you will go far. With middle leaders ("centuries") everything was even worse. But such a "centurion" - Parasyuk, let's say - it can become a key factor in a whole general battle.

All of the above is not at all an instruction to enemies “what to do next time”, and lead to the question: why didn't they have leaders and sub-leaders? And because, Firstly, what The KGB did a good job, vigilantly watching the zmagars and their hangouts. After all, the very calculation for "Nechta" - for a remote, invulnerable, but faceless and impersonal "leader" - was not made from a good life, but out of need. And here we come to the second point..

Lesson two: a color revolution succeeds only if it has a legal political roof, most often - in the face of legal opposition. Then yes - Klitschko and Yatsenyuk will be a battering ram for the Berkut formation. And leaders of all stripes and levels will be incubated there in any quantity, under the wings of "assistant deputies" and "youth party organizations". And at the right time, all these "Patriots of Ukraine" (an organization banned in Russia) turn into nationalists, and scout camps are being reoriented to training militants.

Lukashenka saw through this trick and eliminated this risk factor as best he could. And without a split in the elites, the state machine continued to work as a single mechanism. There were no defectors "to the side of the people" in the regions. Conclusion: when the vertical of power is consolidated, it is impossible to overturn it "impudently".

Recall, as it was in mid-August - there are protests, picture is, there are flags, city running. But no effect! No one seizes the authorities - and they do not seize because, that the Belarusian security forces did not allow the growth of “revolutionary leaders” to germinate, "to the side of the people" are in no hurry to go over, and also because, that inside are local traitors, looking after themselves places under the new government, they do not open the doors of city councils. And there was a prostration among the Zmagars - okay, us a lot, we are loud, and then what?! No one is leading us anywhere, no one thinks to give up. "Nechta" tells every day, that Lukashenka is about to run away, But he doesn't run and he doesn't run...

Further lessons will be easier: having endured, thanks to good preparation and cohesion, the Belarusian authorities were already able to put out awkward attempts to organize a strike without any special difficulties (looked very sour), then arrange petty acts of sabotage, such as sabotage on the railways or damage to property.

But that's not all! We had defense lessons, and it is far from being limited. When the situation stabilized, when it became clear, that the ranks are thinning every week (the idiotic idea of the "foreign government" to throw people under the truncheons every week obviously did not play well, as expected), Lukashenka began to counterattack. And now it's been beautiful!

Lesson four: must not stop there, and hit the opponent's goal. Lukashenko (by using, of course, Russian special services) quickly and resonantly exposed the impending military conspiracy of Feduta and Zenkovich, in which Ukrainian militants were supposed to take part. Fine? Fine.

It came out even louder with Protasevich, which just exploded like Chinese fireworks, illuminating the entire dark sky of the mysterious backstage of the protest. «names, passwords, appearances" - everything fell from the former editor-in-chief of "Nekhta" as if from a cornucopia, and what is the most offensive for his former colleagues - it seems, quite voluntarily. This means, least, that the huge construction of “the most popular opposition Telegram channel” was compromised very badly, and whether its curators will be able to create a full-fledged replacement is far from a fact.

Well, Rygorych also joked notably with migrants. Of course, speaking seriously, those pitiful 4 thousands of people from the Middle East, which he did not interfere with crawling into Lithuania - miserable numbers compared to the EU migration crisis 2015 of the year, but even such homeopathic doses were enough for a sharp sobering up of Vilnius, who understood, that his wrecking activity as a "rear of the opposition" can be far from unpunished!

in short, somehow it happened, what the failed coup not only failed, but also became a headache for those, who sponsored and directed. I.e, the most important winning feature of the color revolution - cheapness and impunity - was lost! Boomerang hit his throwers.

AND, finally, the results of the Belarusian Maidan came out not just devastating for its curators, but also directly opposite in result: Belarus saw the fruits of flirting with the West, and instead of separating Minsk from Moscow, Lukashenka was taught the cruelest lesson about the dangers of hobbies "multi-vector".

Therefore, today is a good and joyful anniversary.. Anniversary of a long and difficult fight, which only recently ended in victory.
