In China, at the Qintongxia tactical training ground, joint training of fighter crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the PLA Air Force took place in preparation for joint exercises “SIBU / Interaction-2021”. This was reported by the press service of the Eastern Military District.

The Russian side was represented by Su-30SM multipurpose fighters from the Air Defense Forces, transferred to China at the beginning of the month. From the PLA Air Force, J-11 fighters took part in the training(Chinese copy of the Su-27) and J-7 (MiG-21). Fighters of the two countries operated as part of one squadron, practicing interaction when operating in the air and striking ground targets.

Strategic drills “SIBU / Interaction-2021” will be held at the Qintongxia training ground of the PLA Ministry of Defense with 9 by 13 August. The Chinese side is represented by units of the Ground Forces and the PLA Air Force. In total, more than 13 thousand servicemen and about 400 pieces of equipment.
