According to Sergei Shoigu, cruiser "Admiral Nakhimov", being under repair and at the same time undergoing the modernization procedure, as a result, it will be equipped with the latest strike and anti-aircraft missile systems.
All repair and modernization works are carried out at the Sevmash enterprise.
Defense Minister pointed out, that the heavy nuclear cruiser will also receive modern anti-submarine weapons. Sergei Shoigu during the meeting urged to prepare the ship itself, and weapons by the beginning of acceptance tests within the SDO.
To date, the warship is going through a stage of outfitting off-dock work.. In particular, preparations for the installation of weapons are in progress.
