At the MAKS-2021 air show held in Zhukovsky, it was announced, that Russia has begun to modernize the C-111 communications complex of the fifth generation Su-57. These works are carried out by the holding "Ruselectronics", part of the state corporation "Rostec".
The press service of the holding told about this to the TASS news agency.
The company declares, that as a result of the work carried out, the complex will become lighter and more compact. At the moment, NPP Polet, company, included in the holding, carries out development work.
In addition to reducing the mass and size of the C-111 complex, its communication channels after modernization will be able to receive and transmit information over a greater distance, their reliability will also increase. Data transfer will be much faster.
According to the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta", the holding will also demonstrate the S-108 communication complex at the exhibition, designed for the Su-35 multipurpose fighter. It has a high degree of protection against interference during information transmission, including in the format of voice messages. This applies to the air-to-air and air-to-ground channels.
During the MAKS-2021 salon, the Ruselectronics holding will show other means of communication, designed to equip various types of aircraft and helicopters.
