Experts discuss the initiative of the authorities of the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics. We are talking about an initiative, which concerns the possible expansion of the so-called Normandy format to resolve the situation in Donbas.
Official Donetsk and Lugansk expressed the idea of holding a "one-time meeting" of political advisers of the Normandy format with expanded participation. At the moment, the aforementioned format includes Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France. According to the LDNR authorities, in the "one-time version" it would be possible to hold a meeting with the invitation of representatives of the republics of Donbass, as well as the representative of the USA.
In Donetsk and Lugansk, in this way, they actually responded to Kiev's initiative to expand the Normandy format by including the United States of America in it.. In the DPR and LPR, as it appears, trying to assess the reaction of Kiev after a response proposal, which actually consists of the following: if the United States and include in the "Normandy process", then only when the people's republics are included in it.
