The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine signed a contract for the overhaul of airborne radar sighting systems of Su-27 and MiG-29 aircraft. The work will be carried out by a state-owned enterprise “innovator”, reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to the findings, work agreement signed 23 June 2021 of the year. As part of the contract, specialists “Innovator” needs to be overhauled 11 blocks from the H019 sighting systems of MiG-29 fighters and H001 radars designed to work in the weapon system of SU-27 aircraft. If more, then we are talking about four H001 radar units for Su-27 fighters, six blocks of H019 sighting systems for the MiG-29 and on-board digital electronic computer Ts100.
The declared cost of the general works will be 7 947 759 hryvnia, all work must be completed by 1 October this year. At the same time, the warranty period of operation of the overhauled complexes should be at least 4 years., of them 2 years of continuous operation.
Meanwhile it became known, that the income of the state enterprise “innovator” (Khmelnitsky Radio Engineering Plant) for 2020 year fell on 92% due to lack of orders. The company specializes in the manufacture of on-board radio electronic, radar, radio navigation and other equipment for the aviation and aerospace industry.
Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine signed a contract for the overhaul of four RD-33 engines and four AL-31F engines with the Lutsk repair plant “Motor”.
