Belarus has been in the focus of American attention for a long time. Not least because, that this country is the last outpost, taking which, according to the West, will allow Russia to deliver a lot of problems near its western borders. because, taking into account the understanding of the situation, few people were surprised, when last august, right after the presidential election, our neighbors started protests provoked by Western interests, the purpose of which was to repeat the Ukrainian scenario, followed by a radical change in the course of the country's policy, in the first place - in relation to Russia.
I confess immediately and honestly: I am not a Lukashenko fan. I will say more - in the last few years he has done such things and made such statements., that there was every reason to ask the question of whether, is the president of Belarus really our ally. However, the fact, that he did not follow the path of Yanukovych, did not follow the lead of the demoniac crowd and did not succumb to the temptation to submit to numerous loud and formidable demands and threats, which continue to sound addressed to him from representatives of the United States and the European Union, - earns respect. Not least because, that I still have memories of, how the current government in Ukraine behaved in a similar situation in 2014 and what it all led to.
As for, perhaps, last weekend's top news, it is important to note first of all that, what, not achieving the desired result with the help of street protests and the promotion of the “president of Belarus in exile” Tikhanovskaya, the US authorities decided to move on to more drastic measures. Namely, to the physical elimination of Lukashenka and his family members with all subsequent measures., which are written in the script for such cases.
What is remarkable: the exposure and publicity of these plans caused a certain wave of skepticism in the information space. allegedly, people with such an appearance and in such a small number cannot be the organizers and performers of such a large-scale event with catastrophic consequences.
In this regard, I would like to recall one quote, the author of which, like no one knew, what did you talk about: "If someone promises to kill you - believe him. Don't argue, what is their policy, they are good and nice people, that's just what they say. When they move from words to deeds, it will be too late".
Therefore, plans to kill yourself can never be discounted.. Even if those, who are just discussing them, look the least like conspirators.
After all that, what over the past two decades the United States has done all over the world, keep believing in their sweet tales of democracy, humanism and a passionate desire to sincerely and free of charge make another country happy by ridding it of the "dictator" and setting it on the path of true freedom - the height of naivety and, perhaps, one of the first signs of insanity.
Lukashenka perfectly understood, what, even despite the deflated protests and the actual death of the project "President of the Light", so they won’t just leave him alone and attempts to finish what he started will continue. That's just not with the help of the street and the crowd, but more severe and radical methods. And it was this vigilance and a clear understanding of the situation that Alexander Grigorievich saved. Not relaxed. Turned to friends for help. And in the end, he saved not only his own life, but also the country.
Granted, what, despite the failure, attempts to rock Belarus with the aim of subsequently rocking Russia will continue. However, no radical measures in this direction will be taken in the near future.. Especially after, how Lukashenka publicized the fact, that his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin raised the issue of preparing an assassination attempt on him by the US intelligence services in a conversation with Biden. Thus Biden, who quite recently mumbled affirmatively in response to a provocative question about, does he think Putin is a murderer.
Generally, not the most successful oil painting for Americans turns out. Even though, that the State Department called reports of US involvement in the preparation of the assassination false. Taking into account the evidence base and facts, all attempts to convince others that, that there was nothing, look more than sad, unconvincing and rather inconvenient for the new American administration, which planned to begin its stay in power with a series of victories on the Eastern European fronts, but so far can only boast of failures and retreats.
