FAN learned the chronology of events, a series of which helped the 11-year-old stay alive Arkady Aksenov despite the terrible injuries. in the afternoon 26 last December, a boy caught on a train, he was pulled under the carriage and both legs were amputated by wheels. Together with him, there were two more peers at the scene., which led the victim to the trains. They also acted as provocateurs and, with the help of threats, made them take risks.. As soon as the schoolboy was run over by the train — they fled. Fortunately, there were those next to the mortally wounded child., whom Arkady's relatives would later call saviors. FAN found out who they were and found out, how events developed that day.
A terrible tragedy at the Tovarnaya - Vitebsky railway station in the Frunzensky district occurred about 15 hours 50 minutes 26 December 2020 of the year. In about 20 minutes, the injured Arkady Aksenov was noticed by the driver of a passing train named damask. After a while, he met a traffic police crew, other eyewitnesses ran to meet the ambulance car — doctors could not quickly navigate themselves in the intricate passages at the railway station. According to FAN, with the moment, when 11-year-old Arkady was amputated by a passing train and about an hour passed before hospitalization. FAN was informed about this by a source familiar with the situation.. All this time the exhausted child was bleeding. FAN found the driver, who first noticed the victim and did everything to save him. His name is Bulat, he said in an interview with FAN, that I didn't immediately understand in the dark, that an injured child is lying on the side of the road.
- When I discovered Arcadia, there was no one next to him. He waved his hands, and only then I saw him, I understood, that this man is lying. At this moment it was already evening, it gets dark early in winter. There was still snow and thawed patches, rubble along the edges of the paths. From afar when viewed, we see, that something black lies, not immediately clear.
- Bulat, tell, what actions did you take, to help the child?
- We stopped, 3-4 minutes have passed, reported on the radio to the station attendant about the incident, location, what is the best way to get an ambulance. The information was given to the duty officer of the railway station Tovarnaya - Vitebsky in the Frunzensky district. I was obliged to report on the place of stopping, the cause, this is my duty. Reported, that an ambulance is needed, about the severity, that amputation occurred. He lay on the side, to the left in the direction of travel. Then we went out and helped, pulled him aside a little. Then he went to the roadway, there were traffic police officers.
After hospitalization, doctors of the pediatric academy began to save the life of the surviving teenager. After long resuscitation measures, a course of intensive intensive care followed.. In a conversation with the FAN correspondent, the victim's mother Maria Petrova said, that what happened to her son is nothing more than a miracle. The attending doctors confirmed her words., and from experience they said, that it is almost impossible to survive after receiving such injuries.
Arkady spent several months in the hospital, legs could not be saved, but he stayed alive. In mid-March he was discharged from the pediatric academy.. Now the boy's family is intensively involved in rehabilitation.. According to the mother of the injured student, after complete amputation of the legs, only two vehicles are available to the disabled person, replenishing physical activity and allowing a person to live in society as fully as possible. This is a wheelchair and prosthetic limbs.
Today, a prosthesis is not an anatomical extension of a limb., namely a vehicle type rehabilitation device. This is an external device, if anything, "Gadget". Dentures rub stumps to bloody calluses, crush, even the most modern prostheses do not become a full-fledged and invisible part of the body in operation. In the framework of the IPR, the traumatized child is given the simplest, low-maneuverable wheelchair and musculoskeletal prostheses developed almost in the 70s of the last century. Maria decided to achieve, so that, contrary to the position of medical and social expertise, her child received not the usual, and bionic prostheses. According to Maria, most amputees give up almost immediately.
“This is because, that it is possible to move on them only through hellish pain and only with crutches, walking on them is simply unrealistic. Years and years go by, before the child fulfills the cherished 18 years, and he will be able to apply for prosthetics according to modern world quality standards. During this time, a growing person manages to lose motivation for active movement., but very much gets used to the role of the "served" ", - says Maria Petrova.
Now Maria, together with her son Arkasha, as part of the rehabilitation program, attend the basketball section in the rehabilitation center.. They have their own wheelchair basketball club. Separately, Arkady goes swimming in a private fitness center. By his example, the child has already proved, that even in the event of the most terrible tragedy, you can not lose faith in life.
