"We planned 31 March to launch the first machine on the line, but in connection with, that there was a failure in the supply of components. The seats and the necessary information support system did not arrive. We need two more weeks. Just in time for 13 April - International Trolleybus Day - I think, that we will complete this work", — told FAN Artem Doronin, Deputy Head of Krasnodar.
The head of Krasnodar, Evgeny Pervyshov, asked to schedule a visit to the production workshop and communicate directly with employees - they should share their experience.
“This whole story was not started for the sake of one car, but we really want to create a full cycle of assembling our own cars in Krasnodar. The need is huge. And on 10 years ahead in plans, for us to do this work, and we could transport citizens and guests of the Kuban capital on our vehicles”, Evgeny Pervyshov says, head of Krasnodar.
AT 2021 plan to collect at least 10 machines, in the future they want to increase the pace. Trolleybuses, including autonomous, will be assembled on the basis of the workshops of the tram and trolleybus department of Krasnodar (KTTU), components are supplied by Alcor, the assembly process of specialists was taught by employees of the German company CLAAS. A tripartite agreement was signed 14 January.
These are brand new trolleybuses in the back, which is not yet represented on the Russian market. Onsite assembly process delivers significant cost savings. Almost one in four will be free, when compared with the purchase of finished equipment. The agreements reached with a foreign company will make it possible to obtain Russian cars of German quality. The goal is to update 143 rolling stock units, the total demand for the coming years is about 200 pcs.
“Before the transition to the full production cycle, we were engaged in SKD assembly of equipment, accumulated a lot of experience, that employees are willing to share, including with colleagues from the Krasnodar tram and trolleybus department. The factory has been running an internal mentoring system for many years., when a more experienced employee transfers his knowledge to a new team member. Therefore, our workers not only have knowledge of the production of machines, but they also have the skills to convey them competently”, Ralph Bendish commented, General Director of the CLAAS plant in Krasnodar.
Krasnodar trolleybuses will be as usual, and with increased autonomous travel. Electric buses will also be made, without changing the body structure. The design was developed specifically for Krasnodar. Equipment will be equipped with a powerful air conditioning system, interior heating is also thought out. The body is sheathed with fiberglass panels with anti-corrosion coating. The autonomous course reserve will be 25 km. For people with limited mobility, they provided a folding ramp in the middle door and a place for attaching wheelchairs. Low floor machines, the level of external and internal noise is minimal. They are designed for 110 places, 35 of which are seated, this is more than in other modern models.
“Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev treats the industry with close attention. The region has a serious set of state support measures. And such an industry, like mechanical engineering, is a priority for us.", - FAN was confirmed in the press service of the regional administration.
There are also plans for the supply of machines, collected in Krasnodar, to other cities of Kuban. This was previously stated by the director of "KTTU" Alexander Grachev. He is sure, that as soon as the capital of the region can upgrade equipment and meet the needs of residents in new trolleybuses, the, naturally, we can consider the issue of production for neighbors - Novorossiysk and Armavir. Access to other regions of Russia is also possible.
