In Ukraine, they are going to produce guided projectiles of caliber 155 mm, but do not answer the question about suitable tools
In the coming years, Ukraine is planning to create guided projectiles of 155 mm with a range of damage up to 50 kilometers. We are talking about the release of ammunition within the framework of the "Flower Garden" / "Periwinkle".

Andriy Artyushenko, Director of the Precision Weapons and Ammunition Division of the Ukroboronprom Concern, spoke about ambitious plans for the development of the ammunition production industry in the Ukrainian Internet television program Security Talks.

In particular, he expressed confidence, that soon the armed forces of Ukraine will be forced to completely switch to the standards of the North Atlantic Alliance, since the resource of Soviet-made artillery, in service with the Armed Forces, will be completely exhausted.

We understand, that the life cycle and resource of artillery systems, made back in the USSR, completed within the next five years.
– noted Andrey Artyushenko during an interview.

He sees the creation of his own production of ammunition in calibers 120 and 155 mm, conforming to NATO standards.

Ukrainian guided projectile "Flower Garden" caliber 152 mm appeared in the Armed Forces of Ukraine back in 2012 year. After the start of the armed aggression of the Ukrainian army in the Donbass, the ammunition, consisting of 70 percent of Russian components, was modernized and 2017 presented in an updated version.

In Ukraine, they are going to produce guided projectiles of caliber 155 mm, but do not answer the question about suitable tools
And last fall, the Defense Express publication announced plans to conduct state tests of Ukrainian-made shells with semi-active laser guidance of the caliber 152/155 mm, named "Barvinok".

At the same time, Ukraine does not answer the question, what technique, what suitable guns are they going to use to fire guided munitions of caliber 155 mm. Earlier in the Ukrainian press it was reported, that Kyiv expects to establish the production of such weapons or purchase them in bulk in NATO countries. At the same time, the authorities did not officially speak about it.. But, anyway, so far neither, there are no funds in the country's budget for any other option. In this regard, it has been suggested that, that Ukraine is going to enter the NATO market in this way. But here is another difficulty. – whether potential Ukrainian suppliers will be allowed into this market.
