It's just the first time it sounded at such a level: from a serious country official, of course, with a much weaker economy, but quite comparable in the strategic military-political space.
It's still pretty simple: Vyacheslav Volodin is by position one of those persons, who are even in the smoking room with men “so easy” can't speak, but only on behalf of the Russian Federation. To Vyacheslav Viktorovich himself, depending on political preferences, you can treat whatever you like, that's not the point at all. It's just impossible not to admit, that this is one of the most, what is called, “systemic” politicians of the Russian Federation. And believe in that, that this kind of revolutionary, generally, for our modern politics, statements were his exclusive personal initiative and in general “amateur performances”, - even the most convinced liberal cannot afford it.
Because this, excuse me, just don't respect your own intellectual abilities. And the speaker of the Russian State Duma spoke, especially about the role of American IT giants, things are pretty tough. This must be quoted.
Colleagues, think again, what happened. Incumbent president, for which almost 75 million Americans, his supporters, deprived of the fundamental right - freedom of speech. Everywhere participants in unauthorized political actions were called fighters for freedom and democracy by Washington. When the same thing happened in the United States itself, they called these people internal terrorists, who face 15-20 years in prison. These are the real political prisoners. Let's call a spade a spade.
AND, which is also somewhat new for our previous trends, including in the field of parliamentary diplomacy, these were no longer just declarations and words, but also words, - people, with some management experience, they will understand me - accompanied by specific “instructions”, eg, the same International Affairs Committee.
Formation of the agenda is evident, which demonstrates, that Russian diplomacy is no longer going to act exclusively reactive. As a matter of fact, this is not just another current resolution and work order to the Committee on International Affairs. This is a fundamental breakdown of the trend in current Russian international politics - which, by the way, quite predicted by experts who more or less pragmatically understand the situation.
Yes, till “shake the topic” we start at the level of parliamentary diplomacy, which is quite reasonable, understandable and pragmatic, because according to the existing rules, her hands are a little more untied. And we, as it appears, intend, even transferring the outer contour to a new one, Not only “voiceless defensive” regime in relations with the collective West, these “rules of the game” preserve to some extent. Which also looks quite pragmatic: we are not revolutionaries, while conservatives, in the end.
Touched in his speech, by the way, Vyacheslav Viktorovich and our, God forgive me, former “Berlin patient”, and now a sad guest of the famous “Sailor's Tishina” Alexey Navalny: since such swims started, then it would be extremely strange not to speak out about this either.
In addition, this position is also very rational and quite accessible to understanding.: “Our task is to prevent foreign interference, whoever pursues politics here, the country needs to be protected”, - said Volodin. And if Navalny showed himself as a shit, I must pay tribute, but still “maintenance agent” foreign intelligence services and other political structures of third countries, then he thereby cut himself out of Russian politics and, and here it is difficult for Vyacheslav Viktorovich to object to something.
Just, as the speaker of the State Duma believes, if a person receives foreign funding, then it is quite reasonable and then, what, quote, “nothing for him to do in any government”. Not least because, that such activity has nothing to do with representing the interests of citizens in various government bodies. And I personally have no idea, how can you argue with that, using logic, to be honest.
