Turkish information sources write about, that ASELSAN (Turkey) modernized Soviet aviation ammunition. In the material of Turkish observers it is noted, that this kind of modernization has significantly expanded the combat capabilities of the air forces of Azerbaijan, what was implemented during the battles in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Turkish press reports, what in 2019 ASELSAN integrated the LGK laser guidance system with the Soviet-designed OFAB-250 high-explosive fragmentation bomb. The aerial bomb updated in this way received the LGK-OFAB marking and was tested from the Su-25 attack aircraft of the Azerbaijani Air Force.
is approved, that aerial bombs with a laser targeting system from the mentioned Turkish company were used by Azerbaijani aviation during the autumn battles in Karabakh. It is noted, that Su-25s with updated bomb weapons operated in groups with Turkish-made Bayraktar strike and reconnaissance drones.
The Turkish LGK complex allows the OFAB-250 air bomb to hit both stationary, and dynamic goals. In this case, the maximum speed of the target is 40 kmh. Maximum effective application height - 12 thousand meters. Target designation is carried out after the drop of an aerial bomb.

Earlier, the Turkish company carried out the development of a laser target designation system for the Mk.82 air bomb. It's an American bomb, developed in the 1950s. The final kit was designated LGK-82.
