Penza, 28 December. On the basis of the Sura water sports palace, Penza divers organized an unusual underwater round dance around the main New Year's symbol. Immersed in the spruce, located at a depth of several meters, even the youngest members of the dive club took part with great pleasure.
Diving instructor of the Penza dive club "22 Sazheni" Alexander Martynov told the FAN correspondent about the details of the New Year's campaign..
“The tradition of the underwater Christmas tree was born a long time ago. Its goal is not only to unite our team, but also the popularization of diving in the city. This year we held a children's underwater holiday!"- Alexander shared.
A professional diver assured, that the children have completed a full dive preparation course. The children were very happy with such an alternative to the classical round dance around the spruce., after all, the underwater event was sharply distinguished by its originality and uniqueness, sure Alexander.
“All the children were trained in the diving course and felt confident underwater. They were especially pleased with the real underwater Santa Claus and the smooth round dance around the green beauty. The kids were very happy and impressed! Well, we, instructors, glad that we were able to give them this little underwater miracle ", - summed up the interlocutor.
FAN previously reported, that in Penza New Year trees and pines will go to feed goats and horses after the holidays. As part of the "Save the Christmas tree" campaign, local eco-activists suggest city residents not to throw used trees into a landfill, and give them to farms as animal feed.
