Ice-resistant self-propelled project platform 00903 is an all-season research platform with the functionality of a research center. Designed for year-round scientific research in the Arctic Ocean.
The vessel will be able to conduct geological, acoustic, geophysical and oceanographic observations, move in ice without involving an icebreaker, receive heavy helicopters such as Mi-8AMT (I-17). Wintering while maintaining comfortable and safe working and living conditions at the polar station is possible at temperatures up to -50 FROM

The ship's crew – 14 human + 34 human scientific staff.
Ice class Arc8 – independent swimming in close-knit one-year and two-year Arctic ice with a thickness of up to 2,1 m in the winter and spring and to navigate 3,1 m in the summer and autumn. Overcoming ice bridges by raids. Swimming in a channel behind an icebreaker in two-year-old Arctic ice up to 3,4 m in winter-spring and without restrictions in multi-year ice in summer-autumn navigation.
