Saint Petersburg shipyard “Severnaya Verf” began preparing the corvette “reverberating” project 20385 to be transferred to the Navy. It is reported by the press service of the enterprise.
On returning to “Northern shipyard” corvette “reverberating” audit started, during which an inspection of the power plant will be carried out, the main mechanisms of the corvette, its weapon systems and special equipment. Shipyard specialists will also perform the final painting of the ship. Preparation of the corvette for transfer should be completed before 25 December, after which the ceremony of raising the St. Andrew's flag will be held until the end of the year.
14 December The Ministry of Defense announced the completion of state tests of the corvette “reverberating”. The ship returned to “Northern shipyard” to prepare for transfer to the fleet.
As previously reported by the Ministry of Defense, corvette “reverberating” join the Pacific Fleet.
Corvette “reverberating” project 20385 is the lead ship of the series. Laid down in February 2012 of the year, It launched in June 2017. Construction delayed due to non-delivery of German MTU power plants. The corvette was completed with Russian diesel units 1DDA-12000 of the Kolomna plant.
The ship is a further development of the project 20380. Designed to detect and destroy enemy surface ships or submarines, organization of the landing, coastal protection, escorting other ships.
Displacement – 2200 tonnes, length – 104 m, width – 13 m, speed – to 27 knots, cruising range – 3500 miles, autonomy – 15 days crew – 99 human.
The armament includes a universal shipborne rifle complex (УКСК) for KR “Caliber”, “onyx” and, perhaps “zircon”, SAM “Redoubt”, 100-mm gun mount A-190-01, two 30-mm anti-aircraft artillery complexes AK-630M, as well as anti-submarine complex “Package”.
