United Engine Corporation (CSD) started serial deliveries of domestic diesel-gas turbine units М55Р for frigates of the project 22350 within the framework of import substitution of Ukrainian power plants. This is reported by the press service of the state corporation Rostec.
UEC announced the delivery of the first fully Russian DGTA-M55R unit to “Northern shipyard”, where the construction of the project frigates 22350. celebrated, that the product was created as part of the import substitution program, the unit has successfully passed qualification and acceptance tests and will be installed on the frigate “Admiral Isakov”.
The first unit was shipped in November this year, shipment of the second unit is scheduled for the first half of December. In this way (…) “Severnaya Verf” will receive a full-fledged power plant, consisting of two units, to one of the frigates of the project 22350, which is currently under construction

specified, that in the DGTA-M55R, in addition to the M90FR gas turbine engine with a maximum power 27 500 Horse power, includes diesel 10D49 with power 5200 Horse power, PO55R reducer and control systems.
stated, that all frigates of the project under construction and planned for construction will be equipped with Russian DGTA-M55R units 22350, except for the head “Admiral Gorshkov” and the first production “Admiral Kasatonov”, which received Ukrainian-made installations.
