Катастрофа даже не в проблемах Байдена, а именно в том, что демократы массово, повсеместно (и на побережьях тоже, by the way) и неожиданно для социологов теряют «свое». Ставка демократов на мнение условной науки (на самом деле не науки, а «эпидемиологов» на госслужбе) – а одно из последних «ударных» выступлений Байдена/Харрис было про это все – «маски, карантины, отслеживание контактов, ответственное поведение, бесплатная вакцина, профит» – оказалась неудачной несмотря даже на обещание помощи и поддержки запертым.

Позиция «давайте жить здесь, сейчас и как привыкли, заболели – так лечиться будем, like Trump, а померли – так все помрут рано или поздно» побеждает, пусть и является «социально неодобряемой» в опросах. И это большой привет карантинным политикам по всему миру.
