Following the strategic hypersonic complex “avant-garde” a number of high-precision missile systems will appear in Russia, the development of which is already being completed. This was stated by the head of the corporation “Tactical Missiles” (KTRV) Boris Obnosov.
Answering questions from journalists at the opening ceremony of the renewed department “Aviation robotic systems” Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), Obnosov noted, that KTRV takes part in all projects to create advanced weapons. According to him, new high-precision missile systems on the way, which he cannot talk about due to secrecy.

note, that last year the head of the Russian military department Sergei Shoigu said, that in response to the US withdrawal from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (DRSMD), Russia will develop several missile systems, including the ground version of the cruise missile “Caliber” increased range, as well as a long-range ground complex with a hypersonic missile.
At the end of last year, the first regiment, adopted the latest strategic missile system with a hypersonic gliding cruise warhead “avant-garde”, took up combat duty. The infrastructure is currently being prepared for the deployment of two more ICBMs with “Vanguard”.
