Ukraine launched an investigation into the crash of the An-26 transport aircraft in the Kharkiv region. Aircraft, on board of which there was a group of Ukrainian cadets of the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force named after Ivan Kozhedub, fell near the city of Chuguev, as already reported “military Review”.
So far, at least 25 killed in a plane crash. And several people, as stated, were able to leave the crashed plane, but got burnt from above 90% body surfaces - incompatible with life.
According to the former head of the military prosecutor's office of Ukraine Anatoly Matios, the transporter could fall due to a crew error. At the same time, statements appeared in the Ukrainian media that, that some time ago, technical services identified problems with An-26 engines. Were these problems eliminated before the last flight of the Ukrainian Air Force aircraft, not reported.
Wherein, there were also versions about the need “look for spies in the maintenance system”.
According to the latest data, on board the aircraft was 27 human.
Having fallen on the 530-km route Kyiv-Kharkov, transport board caught fire. So far, there is no precise information about, at what altitude was the flight.
In the meantime, the name of the cadet was named in the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who was not allowed to fly. This is Alexander Kharchenko. The reasons for, according to which a cadet of Kharkov University of the Air Force was not allowed on board, not officially stated. According to one version, the cadet had a fever. In fact, it saved his life.
