Western countries are irresponsible and refuse to return their citizens, recognized as terrorists, despite the relevant decision of the UN Security Council. This was stated by the Permanent Representative of Syria to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari during the last meeting.
According to him, UN member states must tackle the return of their terrorist citizens to bring them to justice at home. However, despite the declared fight against terrorism, Western countries do not want to do this.
Bashar al-Jaafari stressed, that the Syrian authorities are committed to the principle of the need for a political settlement in the country, based on the inter-Syrian dialogue under the supervision of the UN. However, the participants in this dialogue - Western countries - must also comply with all agreements., what is not happening now.
