This is how the interlocutor of the FAN reacted to the news that, that the government of Serbia, which has recently come under unprecedented pressure from the European Union and other supranational structures, refused to conduct paramilitary maneuvers for the next six months. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the country Alexander Vulin. According to him, Belgrade was subjected to real blackmail: from the Serbs "at the cost of the European future" they demanded not to participate in joint military exercises with Belarus and Russia.
The head of the defense department of Serbia believes, what, making concessions to the West, he thus maintains the neutrality of his state, without joining NATO, neither to the CSTO. Fedorov thinks differently: According to him, Belgrade has "chosen its own path", leading to the West.

So since then we have understood, that the official authorities of this country cannot be particularly trusted - and today their decision to abandon joint exercises on a direct order from Washington is not surprising..
Fedorov said, that Serbia moved away from Russia not today and not yesterday - but then, when she "betrayed Yugoslavia".
"Mechanisms are simple: if you are for the Fatherland, then you have a whole set of specific rules, - said the deputy. - For example, you must respect your history and not consider liquidating your country (formed, by the way, following World War II, which in itself is sacred) as a neutral event. For you it must be something, what to fight! The Serbian government does not, therefore, expect "pro-Serbian behavior" from him, Alas, not worth it".
The parliamentarian named the reason, on which the joint exercises within the framework of the CSTO were so important, which Belgrade refused - according to Fedorov, they had to show the whole world, that our countries have a common defensive policy.
