In Ukraine, it is proposed to extend the practice of obtaining chevrons and other insignia to all units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including separate battalions and brigades.
As an example, it is proposed to use the symbolism, which is already used by a number of battalions and brigades of the National Guard and the armed forces of Ukraine, including the 24th King Daniel Omb (in the picture below – option under number 3). The emblem of this brigade depicts a crowned lion., who walks on two legs.
30-I am a separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Konstantin Ostrozhsky received special emblems on berets for military personnel. The emblem depicts crossed guns under the imperial crown.. Ahead is a shield, on which you can see an image with a 6-pointed star - a variation of the Star of David, crescent and symbol, which is similar to the designation of the male. The ideologists of the use of new symbols in the power units of Ukraine say that, what is the symbolism “expresses historical continuity in the country's army”. Sole continuity, from which Ukraine is trying with all its might to get away, is the Soviet. The APU notes, that decommunization and desovietization in the army are in full swing, and one of the proofs is the emergence of new symbols, in which the soldiers themselves cannot understand.
For military personnel of the mountain infantry, as stated, can be used as edelweiss symbol. When this is added, what “such a symbol is typical for mountain units of European armies – Italy, France, Germany”. This option is considered suitable, as Ukraine aspires to NATO.
