Operational and tactical exercises of the Air Force of Belarus and air defense troops began on Tuesday, 4 August. Reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.
During the exercise, the military will practice the landing of MiG-29 aircraft, Su-25, Yak-130, L-39 to the airfield section of the M1 highway Minsk - Brest. After that, the aircraft will fly to the Ruzhany training ground and strike at ground targets of the conditional enemy.
known, that the anti-aircraft missile system “Tor-M2” will cover the flight area from air attack weapons from the positions of the M1 airfield section, and the Su-30SM will cover in the air. Helicopters Mi-24 and Mi-8MTV-5 will cover AUD from the actions of illegal armed formations and sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
The Defense Ministry noted, that for the first time a cadet will land on the track 4 course of the Aviation Faculty of the Military Academy on a training aircraft.
