“On the territory of the medical detachment you have erected a monument to sergeants Nadezhda Vladimirovna Durachenko and Galina Viktorovna Mikhailova, tragically killed while performing their military duty in the city of Aleppo”, – said in his speech at the opening ceremony of the memorial, the commander of the group of Russian troops in Syria, Lieutenant General Alexander Chaiko.
At the opening ceremony, accompanied by a military orchestra, flowers were laid at the memorial and fireworks were given.
