Moscow, 25 July. Valery Gazzayev, head of the State Duma Committee on Nationalities, believes, that the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan need to remember that, what unites them: stories, traditions and culture. He stated this in a commentary to the Federal News Agency.

"Recent events on the borders of countries friendly to Russia (Azerbaijan and Armenia) cause us all sincere concern and do not leave us indifferent to what is happening, - he said. - Particularly disturbing are local clashes, which lead to disruption of public order on the territory of our multinational Russia. It is unacceptable".

According to the parliamentarian, The Victory parade on Red Square to commemorate the 75th anniversary of our common Victory in the Great Patriotic War demonstrated and reminded us all of our common history of victories in the fight against fascism, against manifestations of racism and extremism alien to our peoples ".

“Let's remember our common braces: history, traditions and culture. This conflict cannot be allowed to escalate further. I want to urge everyone to prudence, peace and harmony ", - added Valery Gazzaev.

note, clashes between citizens of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Moscow began after the events 12 July. Then an armed conflict began on the border of the two countries, associated with the self-determination of Nagorno-Karabakh.
