The first stage of testing is scheduled for completion in November. In the future, two more aircraft of this type will be connected to flights., - said the industrial director of the aviation complex of the state corporation “Rostec” Anatoly Serdyukov.
The main feature of the Mi-8AMTSh-VN was the use of two course machine guns of 12,7 mm. The combat vehicle is also equipped with new flight and navigation equipment., searchlight with infrared emitter, gyro-stabilized optoelectronic system, lighting equipment for two ranges. Also, the helicopter is adapted for the use of night vision goggles.. The cockpit and main units of the combat vehicle are protected by new armor made of titanium alloy.
