The T-14 Armata tank was tested in an “unmanned” version

T-14 «Armani» experienced in «unmanned» variant
Ongoing tests of the T-14 Armata tank reported. In particular, one of the stages of testing a new generation tank is associated with the actions of a combat vehicle in a crewless version.

An unnamed source in the military-industrial complex told RIA Novosti about working out a regime of action without a crew.

It should be noted, what was previously reported about the universality of the latest platform in that regard, that you can use this platform in its fully robotic version. At the same time, we are talking about a robotic version of a new generation tank during the last 3-4 years. And only now information about the tests of the tank in the "unmanned" version began to be confirmed.

AT 2018 between the Ministry of Defense of Russia and the manufacturer of equipment on the Armata platform (and this is Uralvagonzavod) a contract was signed for the supply of troops 132 units of such weapons. In addition to the T-14 Armata tanks, we are also talking about the BMP T-15. The contract must be implemented before the start 2022 of the year.

Earlier reports from India showed high interest of Indian partners in T-14 tanks “Armani”, with the acquisition of which India “could get an advantage in armored vehicles over China”. This is how the situation is described in the Indian media.
