The Russian Embassy will again begin to work in Libya, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during a meeting with Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives Agila Saleh.
Moscow has decided to resume the activities of the Russian embassy in Libya. His charge d'affaires, Jamshed Boltaev, will head, clarified the head of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
The Russian Embassy will be temporarily based in Tunisia.
“But I want to emphasize, that its functions include representing Russia throughout Libya”, - added Sergey Lavrov.
During a meeting with the President of the House of Representatives of Libya, Sergey Lavrov emphasized, that there is no military solution to the intra-Libyan crisis, parties should return to the negotiating table.
