Solemn procession of troops in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory for residents of the city of Luga, that in the Leningrad region, took place 24 June, with the participation of military personnel of the Western Military District under the leadership of the commander of the combined arms army, Major General Vladislav Ershov.
Major General Vladislav Ershov, veterans of military service, garrison troops and residents of Luga laid flowers at the monument “Fallen soldiers”, almost dead Soviet soldiers a moment of silence.
Artillery calculations were carried out along the main streets of Luga, combined arms, as well as missile compounds. Also in the parade was attended by graduate officers, graduated from military schools this year.
In total, more than 500 military personnel ZVO and 20 pieces of military equipment.
Victory Parade in connection with the coronavirus pandemic this year is held 24 June. Since 25 June 1 July will be a vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
