One of the main political accents of the week in Ukraine is 17 June, supporters of the famous Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Sharia held a protest outside the office of the president, and then marched in the center of Kiev. Against the background of provocations by local Nazis, the Sharievites managed to show them their strength. According to political analysts, this event may give rise to a new trend in the country: when the "street" becomes the site of a real Nazi struggle, pulling the state back to Maidan times, and sane Ukrainians, seeking to get him out of the swamp. Correspondent Federal News Agency reports from the Ukrainian capital.
According to observations of the FAN, large-scale street protests, probably, last thing, how can you surprise Kiev. In the city they are constantly, but in 60-70% cases they were organized by nationalists and radicals. They are aggressive, fluent in protest technology and easily translate any verbal skirmish into a good fight. Ordinary Ukrainians, even set up differently, they are afraid.
Therefore, in recent years, almost no shares of sane citizens were held in Ukraine, which infuriate nationalism and the "desire for Europe", leading to an increasing robbery of the country. The exception was one or two small rallies of Russian World supporters per year, but even those under severe pressure from the Nazis. Therefore, the fact itself, that under the president’s office managed to gather one and a half to two thousand supporters of civil and media freedom, surprised many.
Radicals from the C14 groupings, "Demsokira", "National Corps" and others simply could not ignore such an event. They came to Bankova in all its glory - in white coats (to "treat" the "Shariivites"), with megaphones, rotten eggs and t. P. However, the police didn’t turn them around. The same "C14" led by Evgen Karasem how very dangerous cops immediately took to the ring until the end of the event. And rotten eggs and chants from "gunboats" from "Damsokira" did not cause panic among the protesters.
The main events, causing strong resonance in Ukraine, happened after the protest. At the metro station "Arsenalnaya" there was a fight "Shariivites" with the Nazis from the "Azov", who have long recorded Sharia in the "agents of the Kremlin". Supporters of the blogger beat up radicals, and this was a real shock for the latter. FAN impressions, for the first time in six years, someone gave a real rebuff to right-wing radicals in Ukraine. After all, after the coup 2014 years they felt masters in the streets of Kiev and other cities.
They pushed into the trash cans of the objectionable, threatened and beaten everyone, who wish. The last impudent trick was an incident with an actor Sergey Sivokho, presidential adviser and friend Zelensky, which was beaten up with impunity by radicals from the National Corps. Nazis in Ukraine could even kill, not afraid of retribution, suffice it to recall Sergey Sternenko, who was placed under house arrest for the murder. Any resistance to the "maydanut" since 2014 years brutally suppressed by the authorities, and tragedy 2 May in Odessa is the worst example.
Against this background, a rebuff, which the “Sharievists” gave to the Nazis, already looks like a feat. After all, the experience of communicating with people, living in Ukraine, shows, that tens of thousands of citizens, hating the Nazis and Maidan, long ago “left for internal emigration” and try not to be interested in politics. There are those, who denies the obvious and declares, that "there is no Nazism in today's Ukraine".
The reason is simple: in normal Ukrainians fear of repression, fear of losing a job and being harassed for their views. And most importantly, after the "surrender of ideals" Zelensky they have no hope, that in Ukraine, in principle, something can change. And even a small incident at Arsenalnaya gave thousands of “internal emigrants” hope, that this skirmish is a harbinger of changes in the country and the monopoly of Nazi power in the streets is coming to an end.
Therefore, the Nazis who were beaten in a fight caused, who are tired of the Maidan Ukraine project for a long time, such a delight in social networks. He showed, that millions of Ukrainians secretly await strength, which can resist the radicals, supported by Maidan leaders. Citizens are tired of Nazi impunity, and from the very vector of the country's development, leading her straight to ruin.
Famous Ukrainian political scientist, Head of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation Bond Bondarenko confirmed: stock 17 June at Bankova was of great political importance.
“For the first time since the Maidan, it was possible to organize a mass protest rally not by supporters of the authorities, Nazi, "ATO veterans" or "Maidan heroes", and their opponents, of which in fact hundreds of thousands, - he said. - I think, that soon other sane political forces will organize large-scale protests. As the saying goes, the ice has broken. Today it became clear, that "is already possible", and there is no longer the dictatorship of the radicals, because their time has passed ”.
Analyst recalled, that the Nazis and "gunboats" a few days before the rally, Sharia began to sound the bells on social networks and gather their supporters. But in the end, only a few came to confront the “Sharievites” - few people wanted to get a hat for a very modest fee, relying on the radicals for participating in the action.
"Unknown, what were the motives of the blogger Sharia himself. maybe, it was for him a review of his troops or an attempt at a high-profile political announcement, - assumes a political scientist. - But in fact a protest 17 June showed, that the radicals have lost their monopoly on mass actions and the sane part of society will increasingly express itself. If we talk about the strike on Zelensky, then until he is critical. Fresh sociology shows, that there is no sharp collapse in power ratings. But by the fall of the president’s ratings may fall, and Sharia has the same electorate with him - voters of the southeast and center of Ukraine. If Zelensky's rating starts to fall, then these people can either go to Sharia, or strengthen the ranks of the “Opposition Platform - For Life” Medvedchuk ».

"June 17, the party of Sharia, having held a mass rally at Bankova, put an end to the right-wing radical monopoly on the "street". The "going offline" of his supporters can be considered successful - the party showed a new policy format, combining new media with street activity, - he indicated. - And not even so important, whether or not the president heard the demands of the protesters. The action turned out to be well prepared not only organizationally, but unexpectedly for many, the demonstrators showed the ability to protect their supporters ”.
According to the expert, the police worked smoothly and efficiently.
"Yes, there were attempts to hunt Sharia supporters after the rally, but they got a decent rebuff. certainly, this is a marker of those conditions, in which the next presidential and parliamentary elections will be held, - predicts Zolotarev. - IN 2014 year, the "street factor" came into Ukrainian politics, which has become, along with suitcases of “cache” and access to the TV screen, a key policy tool.
Six years the "street" was monopolized by forces, who came to power in 2014, their partners and allies. [Former President of Ukraine Peter] Poroshenko pursued a policy of social Darwinism, and failures in the socio-economic sphere offset, imposing ethnic nationalism on society. For some reason he decided, that this model will help him maintain legitimacy. Hence the policy of total Ukrainization, rewriting history, the introduction of various linguistic and cultural quotas and restrictions, etc.. d. ».
Analyst recalled, that even in 2014-2015 years, Poroshenko’s power was not able to engage in dialogue not only with political forces, but also with society.
“The Poroshenko regime and its political and business environment did not have allies or partners. They had only competitors, enemies and accomplices. Right-wing radicals became such accomplices for power, who were given to the "street". After all, that economic and social policy, conducted by the Poroshenko regime, inevitably had to cause a mass protest, - emphasizes the head of the "Third Sector". - In exchange for “services” to harass and forcefully suppress opponents of power, the radicals received the “roof” of Ukrainian security officials. It was, of course, and completely frostbitten, who did not want to accept such rules of the game. But characters like Sashko Bilogo or Forester quickly removed from the game. And “note-taking” patriots like Karas and Sternenko appeared at the forefront, for whom sensitivity to the demands of power has become a guarantee of personal freedom and “freedom of hands”.
No less important conclusion from the events 17 June: in a situation, when radicals get a rebuff, and the police do that, what should do, Nazis quickly blown away, political scientist believes.
"Nationalists, of course, will remind themselves more than once, there will be attempts to revenge Sharia supporters. Nevertheless, the time of their total hegemony on the "street", looks like, ended. Over the years of a comfortable stay as a “junior partner in power”, right-wing radicals, probably, heightened sense of reality. It’s time to let them down from heaven to earth. ”, - summarized Zolotarev.
