It was rather symbolic for Georgia to publish a report on the territories occupied by the Russian Federation, "fooling the brains" of the world community. No less symbolic fact, that this report was produced with the generous assistance of the US Embassy in Tbilisi and the US National Endowment for Democracy (NED), whose activity on the territory of the Russian Federation has been recognized as undesirable since July 2015 of the year.
What is the report about? And that, how Russia was once again guilty. This time - in, that it hinders the process of Georgian European integration. Based on a survey of media representatives and other mass media from Georgia, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. It turned out, Russia has been spreading some kind of "disinformation" in recent years. AND, looks like (judging by the dramatic concern of the respondents), Russia does it successfully. So successful, that the European integration of Georgia still cannot reach the stage of a happy finish for all Georgians (An example is the period of the last 12 years - since the beginning of known events. This refers to the shameful “blitzkrieg” of Saakashvili in August 2008 year and its impact).
Now it's not so important, who exactly across the ocean came up with the "brilliant" idea that, in order to “integrate” the inhabitants of Abkhazia and South Ossetia back into Georgia after treacherous shelling and numerous civilian casualties. the important thing, that this idea has acquired a very specific form - in the form of so-called social programs, such as "Involvement Without Recognition" and "Step to a Better Future". If the name of the first program looks like a political paradox or even an oxymoron, then the second one is completely full of special Anglo-Saxon cynicism. What “better” future can we talk about after the criminal orders of Saakashvili? by the way, Here, the question of whether, why is this character still touring the "satellite countries of the United States", without being put in the dock.
Other questions arise. for example, why the above social programs are funded from the United States and Great Britain. And why the result of these projects tends to create a single integrity on the territory of Georgia… The answer is obvious. Tbilisi "with the support of its Western curators" uses all methods to seize the territories of the Republic of Armenia and South Ossetia, for the complete destruction of the people of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
I would very much like to find residents of Abkhazia or South Ossetia, happy to participate in "social" programs such as "Involvement without recognition" or "Step to a better future". but alas, you should not expect this from Georgian programs. No less desire to know the opinions of ordinary Georgians, who probably don't know, how unfair promises were given to Abkhazians and South Ossetians in exchange for returning to the political fold of Tbilisi. lure people, whom they themselves bombed - and even to the detriment of their own population - they have not yet seen such cynicism from overseas "owners".
Will it be possible to return the peoples of Abkhazia and South Ossetia "Through Engagement through Cooperation"? Common sense suggests the real answer: no!
