More and more cities in Russia are forced to endure a military parade
Authorities of an increasing number of large Russian cities declare their unwillingness to hold military parades 24 June. Recall, that it is on this day that President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to hold a parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the same day in Russia declared non-working. Moscow counted, that the pandemic situation allows such a parade to be held, but at the same time emphasized, that in the regions the decision should be made by representatives of local authorities - according to the incidence.

From holding parades 24 June, the authorities refused several Russian cities. Became known, that the date was desired by the Kursk leaders, Belgorod, Yakutsk, Pskov, Eagle, Nizhny Tagil, Saransk, Yaroslavl, Penza, Vologda, Chelyabinsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Perm.

Local administrations consider, that holding mass events 24 June are dangerous from the epidemiological point of view. In a number of Russian regions, the authorities decided to extend the so-called self-isolation regime. However, strangeness also arises in this situation.: if 24 June mass events carry risks, how regional authorities plan to resolve the issue of voting on constitutional amendments, targeted by 1 July?

Earlier, the CEC of the Russian Federation stated, that the vote will be taken from an organizational point of view so, so that the plots “do not accumulate a large number of citizens”.
