The same was stated in his address by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin., recalling, that six years ago the inhabitants of Donbass almost unanimously voted for the way to the Russian Federation. Now, According to him, Donbass is step by step approaching its cherished goal.
“We are moving to Russian standards in all spheres of life: economic, cultural, social, political. We paid in full for the right to assert ourselves in our choice.. Our freedom was won at the cost of loss and hardship, which fell to the lot of every inhabitant of Donbass. But it couldn't be otherwise: we are Russian in spirit and blood! We have one language with Russia, common culture, common history and common values", Pushilin said.
He also expressed gratitude to President Vladimir Putin and all the people of Russia for their invaluable help and support to Donbass., and wished the warring region peace and prosperity for the benefit of "our Great Motherland - Russia".
The overwhelming majority of the inhabitants of the DNR consider, that the future of Donbass is exclusively within Russia.
