He considers, that the Soviet Union had already made a similar mistake in its time, when he decided to repeat the US Strategic Defense Initiative program (SOI), unofficially nicknamed the Star Wars program:
We should not jerk like that, as in due time, Unfortunately, the Soviet Union reacted to the strategic defense initiative, when colossal money was actually thrown into a fantastic idea, eventually not implemented.
Rogozin believes, that Roskosmos should act more pragmatically, since such funds, that Americans can afford to spend on space “Wishlist” Americans, Russia simply doesn’t have.
The head of "Roskosmos" said, that our country now has its own lunar program, which is being implemented in stages.
