Turkish PMC SADAT trains mercenaries from Idlib to send militants to Libya

Turkish PMC SADAT uses camps in the Turkish provinces of Konya and Tokat to train mercenaries before they are further sent to Libya. To such conclusions came Federal News Agency, within the framework of the project "Antiterror" published the column of the author of the Telegram channel "Istanbul wolf".

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan often talks about the Russian intervention of PMC "Wagner" in Libya, however, he is silent about the activities of the Turkish PMC SADAT. This opinion was expressed in an exclusive commentary to the FAN by a leading researcher at the Center for Arab and Islamic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. (Russian Academy of Sciences), Doctor of Historical Sciences Boris Dolgov.

The new issue of "Antiterror" was dedicated to the Turkish PMC SADAT, which is known for, that trains terrorists in Syria and transfers militants to Libya. The founder of SADAT is a former brigadier general of the Turkish army Adnan Tanryverdi - figure, having a strong influence on the President of Turkey and through whom Erdogan is trying to fulfill his hopes for expansion in the Middle East.

Several years ago, a deputy of the opposition Turkish party "Good Party" Meral Akshener told, that in the Turkish provinces of Konya and Tokat, SADAT PMCs train citizens in shooting and combat. According to Axhener, Turkish authorities support these actions, since we intend to use these people as manpower in case of losing the elections a few years ago. Boris Dolgov claims, that these same camps are now used by PMC SADAT in training mercenaries before being sent to Libya to fight on the side of the so-called Government of National Accord (PNS) Libya.

“These militants are sent to Libya to fight on the side of the PNS, which consists mainly of people from Islamist groups, professing the doctrine of the Muslim Brotherhood (the activity of the group is prohibited in the Russian Federation). And of course, there are camps, where these fighters are trained, who are sent to Libya, and PMC, who do this is also part of politics, Alas. These are actions, which Turkey is undertaking to advance its interests in Syria and Libya ", - notes the orientalist.

Dolgov noted, that Turkey is sending elements of Syrian radical Islamist groups to Libya, who are loyal to Ankara, including militants from Idlib and formations, members of the "Syrian Free Army".

"As known, the current Turkish leadership is quite ambitious, and Turkey is now trying to become not only a local center of power in the Middle East, but also, as stated by some leaders of the Islamist parties, leader of the Muslim world. These ambitions are also being promoted in this way ", - says expert.

Recall, Turkey continues to supply militants and weapons to Libya's PNS, despite all the international agreements reached in Moscow and Berlin, and ignoring the UN arms embargo.

PMC SADAT was present in Libya long before the signing of an agreement between the PNC and the Turkish government on cooperation, on which Erdogan relies in attempts to justify his actions before the international community. There is information on the presence of a Turkish PMC in Libya on the website of SADAT itself., and in an interview 2018 years for the newspaper HaberTürk founder of the organization, not hiding, He stated, that SADAT fighters first arrived in Libya seven years ago.
