In relation to the advanced frigate of project 22350M reported, that after the completion of the outline project in 2019 year, the military made no decision on further work on the project.

At the same time, both projects are mentioned in the PCB annual report as the most promising projects of the company.

About, that the design work on a promising nuclear destroyer for the Russian Navy has actually been stopped, reported in February of this year. It was specified, that the reason for stopping the project was the lack of funds for the project and its transfer to a later date. The work is being proactive.

In relation to the improved frigate of the project 22350M in December last year it was reported, that the ship’s technical design is ready. According to the head of the USC, Alexei Rakhmanov, construction of the lead ship may begin as early as this year, subject to adequate funding, however, no decision has yet been made on it.

According to available information, the new frigate will carry 48 missiles in six installations as opposed to project frigates 22350, bearing 16 missiles and two modernized ships, pledged in April 2019 of the year, designed to 24 missiles.
