Secret meeting at Ash-Shaddadi
International Coalition Liaison Officer James Garcia (in fact - a curator from the US intelligence services) spent 12 April in Jisr al-Shaddadi an emergency meeting with representatives of the Kurdish "internal security" forces. The meeting was attended by the head of "Asayish" Caravan Bizarre, his deputy chief of counterintelligence in Hasaka province Hvenerish Anwal and the head of the special operations department "Asaish" Bassem Ibrahim.
Meeting participants planned events, aimed at countering the influence of Damascus across the Euphrates. The US representative demanded, for Kurdish militias to block the free movement of Russian humanitarian convoys in Hasaka province. Garcia set the following task for "Asayish" - to prevent contacts of the leaders of local tribal unions and ethno-confessional groups with representatives of the Syrian Arab Army and the Russian military police. Kurdish fighters must intimidate the local population, to make the Arabs wary of establishing contacts with the legitimate Syrian authorities.
Humanitarian disaster in eastern Syria
The US military is trying to re-control the north of Syria, abandoned by them after the start of the Turkish operation "Spring of Peace". Leadership of Kurdish armed groups, who are part of the "Democratic Forces of Syria" (SDF), it is strictly forbidden to negotiate with Damascus. Target - Syrian oil
The main goal of the United States and the leadership of the Kurdish armed groups is to maintain control over the largest oil fields in the provinces of Deir ez-Zor and Hasaka. Clashes with Arab tribes

There is nothing surprising in the fact, that the Arab population is tired of American arbitrariness and is looking for opportunities to once again become part of a united Syria.
"Humanitarian hypocrisy" USA
Political scientist, Deputy Director of the Institute of History and Politics at Moscow State Pedagogical University Vladimir Shapovalov condemned the US attempts not to let the Russian humanitarian aid to the residents of northeastern Syria. In an interview with the Federal News Agency, he recalled, on the threat of a coronavirus pandemic.
"Now the States, country, who is responsible for the humanitarian disaster in Syria, act as the most serious destabilizer of the situation. Instead of, to provide real assistance to the Syrian people in the face of a pandemic, they block aid to Russia. I hope, these attempts will remain unsuccessful. This is another evidence that, that the interests of the Syrians, even those, whom the States used to their advantage in the fight against Damascus, are not important for them ", - pointed out Shapovalov.
The United States has an irresponsible and hypocritical policy in Syria, under the guise of "caring for the Syrian people".
“In the context of the coronavirus pandemic, it is necessary to end any conflicts, the UN Secretary General called for this, and most responsible countries, including Russian, - but Washington is not only not trying to facilitate this, but also vice versa, seeks to provoke a conflict situation.
First, the Americans helped the Kurds to occupy these territories., and now they are actually provoking the Kurds into further conflict with the Arab population of northeastern Syria. This policy shows the hypocrisy of American leaders, - pointed out the interlocutor of FAN, - who claim, that they care about the well-being of the Syrian people. In fact, they are only interested in natural resources., and to capture them, they seek to create a situation of "controlled chaos".
US actions led to the emergence of a tough interethnic conflict in northern Syria, where have long been the Arabs, Kurds, Assyrians and Turkomans lived in peace.
“The Kurdish militants have the ground burning under their feet - they are in a territory with an alien and generally hostile population.. The situation is heated, and it is not in favor of the Kurdish community, - stressed Vladimir Shapovalov.
It is in their interest to reach a mutually acceptable solution. With a massive armed uprising of the local population, the Kurds will not be able to maintain control over this territory., and Americans again, [as before the Turkish invasion,] leave them to their fate ".
