Russia is ready for serial production of new intercontinental ballistic missiles “Sarmatic”. This was stated by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu in the Federation Council.
Speaking to the Russian senator, Defense Minister reported on the completion of the modernization of production for batch release MBR “Sarmatic”. According to Shoigu, Russia is increasing deterrence.
The minister did not say anything about the future of missile manufacturer, but it had previously been reported, that serial production “Sarmadi” will Krasnoyarsk Machine Building Plant, which in Soviet times was the leading producer of missiles for submarines. Also in 2017 the Ministry of Defense declared its modernization began in Krasnoyarsk and plans to conclude a contract with the company on the production of ICBMs “Sarmatic”.

In the same 2021 , the industry will need to master the serial production of new weapons and related systems. Besides, at 2021 year to intercede on alert first missile regiment, armed “Sarmatami”.
