The refusal of the United States from the obligations under the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (DRSMD) can provoke the beginning of an arms race. Such a statement was made by the Deputy Defense Minister of Russia Alexander Fomin, Colonel-General.
Fomin noted, that the US gradually destroys the existing arms control system, which for many years he was a guarantor of world security and strategic stability. He considers, that the probability of starting a new arms race after the US withdrawal from the INF Treaty is very high, transmit “Notifications”.
Russian Colonel-General added,, that the Defense Ministry will closely monitor the actions of the United States on the creation and deployment of intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles. he stressed, that Russia will be in complete safety during the development of any script.
