Passing the repair and modernization of the former large anti-submarine ship, retrained in the frigate “Marshal Shaposhnikov”, changes its artillery. Instead of two nasal 100mm guns AK-100 ship will receive a 100-mm gun mount A-190-01. It is reported “Notifications” with reference to the MOD.
The modified A-190-01 installation passed all tests and was put into service eight years ago. It has a rate of fire up to 80 rounds per minute at maximum range over 20 km. She can also shoot down aircraft at an altitude of 15 km. At the same time, the tower of the installation is made according to the technology “stealth”, which reduces the likelihood “glow” frigate on radar. The two A-100 artillery mounts previously installed on the ship were developed back in the 70s of last year and were clearly visible on enemy radars.
earlier it was reported, that the large anti-submarine ships of the project 1155 become frigates, the decision on this in the Ministry of Defense has already been made. First summer 2019 BOD was officially retrained “Marshal Shaposhnikov”, passing on the modernization “Dalzavod” in Vladivostok. The rest of the ships of this project will be retrained after passing the upgrade. According to the source, modernized ships will combine the capabilities of carriers of high-precision cruise missiles and anti-submarine ships.
In the course of modernization “Marshal Shaposhnikov” already installed anti-ship complex “Art” with X-35 missiles, universal cruise missile launcher “Caliber”, “onyx” or “zircon”, universal fire control system for naval artillery “Bajrami”, TK-25 shipborne electronic jamming system.
After replacing two A-100 gun mounts with one A-190-1, the fate of the weapons remained unknown, standing on the BOD before modernization: two 45 mm 21-KM semi-automatic cannons, four 30-mm ZAK AK-630, two air defense systems “Dagger”, two anti-submarine complexes “Bell-B”, two RBU-6000 jet bombers, as well as torpedo tubes. Two Ka-27PL helicopters are based on board the BOD.
Total displacement ships of the project 1155 – 7570 tonnes, body length – 163,5 m. Speed – to 32 knots, cruising range – 5 thousand miles on 18 sites, autonomy - 30 day. crew - 220 human (including 29 officers).
