New individual flameproof complex, able to protect the operator-Bomb during mine clearing improvised explosive devices IEDs) entered service engineering units “Rosgvardii” before the end of this year.
As explained in “Rosgvardii”, new protective complex “Granat-V” first of all, it will be put into service with the engineering and technical units of the OMON, who go first to detect any explosive object. It is able to protect a sapper when an explosive device weighing up to 4 kg.
This costume has no analogues in Russia, this is the only costume, which protects the operator-explosive technician during the tasks of demining a suspicious object, i.e. improvised explosive device
