Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense tested the doors at the entrance to the command post of the Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) to a direct hit by a nuclear warhead. Posted by TV channel "Star".
The footage shows, that the tests were carried out in a specially protected area in the Leningrad region. The main target for the "nuclear strike" was the door to the command center of the Strategic Missile Forces, underground.
Engineers laid 200 kilograms of explosives in TNT equivalent, which is equal to the power of a real nuclear strike. As a result of the detonation, the structure withstood the impact, retaining its structure and power elements. Notably, that for testing doors weighing about four tons each were mounted at a training ground in the Leningrad Region.
